Susannah Reed, Co-author
‘The underlying aim in teaching young learners will always be to help them develop their personalities and equip them with the tools they need to be successful in life. Modern teaching materials need to help children explore and discover their place in the wider world.’
Susannah Reed is an experienced author and educational consultant, specialising in Primary ELT materials. She has taught in Spain and the UK and has worked in educational publishing for over 20 years, as an editor and publisher as well as a writer of children’s books. Susannah’s books portfolio includes the following Cambridge University Press titles: Guess What!, Primary Music Box and resource books to accompany the course Super Minds.
Kay Bentley, Co-author
Kay Bentley has been involved in CLIL and bilingual education in Europe for over fifteen years as a teacher, trainer and consultant. She lived in The Netherlands where she taught and trained in primary and secondary schools and since 2005, has been working with European CLIL teachers at NILE (Norwich Institute of Language Education). She regularly does workshops and presentations on CLIL in European schools and at conferences. For Cambridge University Press, she has authored two books about CLIL and an online CLIL course in addition to the CLIL book and video materials incorporated in Guess What! Kay has also written a CLIL primary reader and a range of journal articles on CLIL. For Cambridge English Language Assessment, she has written maths, science and cross-curricular strands for bilingual schools in Egypt and trilingual schools in Kazakhstan. Kay is Chair of TKT: CLIL.
Lesley Koustaff, Series editor

Lesley Koustaff earned her Masters in Teaching and TESOL Teacher Training Certificate from The School for International Training in Vermont and has been teaching and writing ELT materials for students of all ages, from kindergarten to adult, for over thirty years.
Passionate about sharing ideas with other teachers Lesley has conducted educational workshops all over Asia, The United States, Central and South America, and Turkey. She firmly believes that no one cares what you know until they know you care, and feels this is especially true in teaching.
