Clockwise is an energetic 40-hour course in general English. It is uniquely designed for adults who want confidence in using English quickly and effectively, for social interaction and travel/functional purposes. It develops fluency, refreshes key grammar areas and extends active vocabulary.
Clockwise develops confidence in listening and speaking, covers functional/situational areas, and activates passive language. Other areas it addresses include pronunciation, practical skills (e.g. speed-reading, listening for information), and writing in the major text types.
Clockwise takes a regular look at features of spoken English, conversational tactics, high-frequency idiomatic vocabulary, collocation and word-building. Performance tips and checklists provide a personal incentive to improve
